Kadapa Edify School

Project Goal: To design a modern educational campus that harmonizes with its rugged, semi-arid context while providing world-class facilities for holistic development.

Design Description: Set against a backdrop of rich terracotta soil and native scrubland, this school campus is designed as a vibrant educational oasis. The main academic block is defined by its striking facade, where undulating, ribbon-like white bands wrap around warm, wood-toned cladding. These horizontal elements not only provide visual dynamism but also serve as crucial shading devices against the harsh sun.

The masterplan is expansive, featuring a sculptural timber and concrete entrance gateway that creates a dramatic sense of arrival. Beyond the academic buildings, the campus includes extensive athletic infrastructure—including a full-sized running track, football pitch, multiple sports courts, and a swimming complex—integrating physical well-being deep into the student experience.
